When added to our MaxLight tubular skylight it creates Australia’s first skylight that operates both day and night. It is a clever lighting solution for Australian homes.

The Maxbeam24 gives incredible flexibility to customers wanting a skylight solution that lets in sunshine during the day and can light up the room at night.

What’s the secret to the MaxBeam24 LED skylight? It uses a high performance solar panel mounted on the roof which charges a built in solar battery. A specialised light ring is fitted into the MaxLight skylight diffuser mounted in the ceiling.


The MaxBeam24 creates a true 24-hour a day lighting solution.

When the sun is shining the MaxLight skylight streams bright, natural sunlight down the tube and into the room. At night or when the sun isn’t shining (like like on an overcast day), you turn on the MaxBeam with the remote control. The LED light ring comes on and lights the room, powered by the energy from the solar battery. With the remote you can adjust the level light to perfectly suit the situation.

The MaxBeam provides free light 24 hours a day, and can provide light during a blackout, The high performance (2000 lumens) light ring is controlled and dimmed with the remote. The MaxBeam is backed with strong warranties.

The LED light ring is turned on and off with the remote. The smart movement sensor turns the light off after 10 minutes if no movement is detected in the room. It turns it back on automatically when movement is next detected. The brightness of the light can easily be set to any level with the remote.

How The Maxbeam Works

The MaxLight tubular skylight delivers bright natural light during daytime.

The dome captures theHow the MaxBeam LED skylight kit works sunlight and it is reflected down the light tube and through the ceiling diffuser to brighten
the room.

The MaxBeam24 kit is added to the MaxLight to deliver light at night, on cloudy days or during power outages.

Its solar panel captures the sun’s energy to charge the built-in battery which powers the LED light ring.

The light level is adjusted up or down and turned on or off using the remote control.

A premium feature of the MaxBeam24 is the smart movement sensor. When this is turned on, the MaxBeam checks for movement in the room. If after ten minutes no movement is detected, it turns itself off. When you enter a room that has a Maxbeam24 installed, it will turn itself on automatically.
